Host Factory is a system to control the entire software contents of deployed Unix machines. Host Factory lets you customize one prototype Unix system and use it to build hundreds of similar systems. You can deliver incremental changes to running systems and roll them back if they fail. Changes are tracked in a version-control filesystem integral to the product. Host Factory provides an environment to do configuration management and version control of complete hosts.
